Winter Weather Advisory
Issued by the National Weather Service at 3:50 PM MST on January 6, 2009


... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 PM MST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for moderate snow... which is in effect until 6 PM MST
Wednesday.

Light to moderate snow will develop this evening... and continue
through Wednesday afternoon. Total snow accumulations are expected to
range from 3 to 6 inches... with locally higher totals around Bondurant.
Impacted areas include highways 191 and 189 between Pinedale and
Bondurant. West to northwest wind will produce some blowing and
drifting snow along with localized whiteout conditions. Be sure to
check Road conditions by dialing 5 1 1 before traveling.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
